Polar Express Ride!!!

Sorry this is blurry, it was so cold outside that my camera wouldn't focus.
This was taken outside at the Polar Express train station

Our picture taken with Santa on the Polar Express. He goes to all the children and gives them the Christmas bell. Bryton didn't like Santa so much.
The Christmas Bell that Santa gave Hunter on the Polar express. It rang, we all heard it ring. So Yes we do Believe.
The Ticket they gave all of us at the end of the ride.
This is the North Pole, that the Polar Express train drove by
Sorry again for the blurry picture. This Santa Clause at the North Pole waving at us as the train went by

We went on the Polar Express in Flagstaff Arizona. It was so fun. It is about an hour long. While aboard we sang Christmas songs, had cookies and waited to see the North Pole. It was so fun and all the kids had fun. The kids aboard the train wore their PJs just like in the movie. I recommend this ride to everyone. Other than it was soooooo cold outside it was fun.

Christmas Pictures Finally

The boys -taken in Yuma Christmas dayMy family at Salt Lake Temple lights

Mesa Arizona Temple Lights
Mesa Arizona Temple lights
Hunter outside the Mesa Arizona Temple. It was so fun to go see these lights. It was different not having snow and freezing looking at the lights. It was a little chilly but it wasn't freezing. Beautiful Temple and grounds. The lights were amazing.
Hunter's Gingerbread house--the finished product. It's huge and had tons of candy on it. He was so proud of it. This is how you make a gingerbread house!!

Hunter and his aunt Creche and friend Sam working on their gingerbread houses.
This is a park by my sister in laws in Yuma Arizona. This in on Christmas day. It was wired not having snow and actually being outside on a playground on Christmas day.
Bryton loves to go down the slide. He is a dare devil.

Hunter got a Metal Dector for Christmas
Bryton got a Trike. He loves it, but still a little to small but that doesn't stop him
Christmas morning
It was so fun. Clay and I got spoiled. I got a new Camara for Christmas that I can take awesome new pictures with and do a little photoshoping and Clay got a new camcorder. The boys had fun with all their toys too.
Our Christmas presents
Hunter left this plate of cookies for Santa and carrots for his Reindeer. He also left Santa a present for him to take back to the North Pole. I thought that it was so sweet for him to think of Santa on Christmas. Maybe the lessons of giving are finally sinking in.

We went to the Salt Lake Temple lights with some friends the night we left to Yuma for Christmas. It was fun, but freezing and snowy and cold. But the Temple and lights are always beautiful.

We had a great Christmas this year. I am so thankful that we were able to go to Creche's in Arizona. The boys had fun and it was warm. We had so much fun and enjoyed each other.

Bryton enjoying an Ice Cream Cone

As you can see Bryton is really enjoying this ice cream cone. I was actually sharing this cone with him, but some how he took it away from me and went to town eating it. He loved it!

Here are some Halloween Pictures of Hunter and Bryton. Some of these pictures are of Hunter's school Halloween party. Hunter painted his face all by himself, he did a great job! Hunter was a Star Wars trooper and Bryton was a dragon. Hunter did a lot of trick or treating and Bryton had fun being his dad and Nana. Clay said that he enjoyed answering the door for the trick or treaters. Bryton would race him to the door to see them. Next year should be even better.

Grandpa Wood

One month ago today my wonderful Grandpa Wood passed away. It has been so very hard to lose him. He was a great man and a great grandpa to me and my boys. He was 95 years old and he has been like a dad to us for the 18 years when my dad died. He took great care of my mom and all of us kids up to the day he died. The day before he died I called my sister and told her that she should come say goodbye in case he died. She came down to see him and 30 minutes before we were going to go see him, my aunt called and said he died. We went to see him anyway and said goodbye. It was so hard to see him like that. Then that night I went to the mortuary and gave him his last hair cut. That was the hardest thing I have ever had to do but I knew that I wanted to be the one that did it. He always asked me to cut his hair and I knew that he wanted it done before he died and I feel bad that he was too sick for me to cut it. I love him and will miss him so much. I feel a little selfish in thinking that I still want him here, but I know that he is now my dad (his son) and my grandma. What a joyous reunion that must of have been. I would love to have seen the great big smile my dad had on his face when he was reunited with his dad. I love and miss all of them and I am so grateful to have had them in my life and my boys life. Till we meet again.
