Hunter's Baptism 2012

Hunter was so excited to get baptized. He was counting down the days and hours till he got baptized! It was too funny. We were very honered to have Hunter's cousin, my nephew Landon come all the from Texas to baptize Hunter. They both were really excited. Landon did a great job.

When we asked Hunter who he wanted to baptize him he said Landon and then we asked who he wanted to confirm him and he said Landon. It was slowly turing out to be a one man show. He asked his Aunt Creche to give a talk and his Dad to give a talk. ( I was charge of planning and food and organizing this baptism) :) . He asked his cousin Tyson and Trey to give the prayers. It was fun to involve the younger cousins. He asked two of his Uncle to be Witness.

It turned out great. We had alot of people show up, at least 40 !! The ward did this great thing. They had everyone write something on a paper and then they made it into a book. They also made an awesome towel that has his name and baptism day on it and then gave it to him. It was really neat.

It was a great day and I am so thankful and proud of Hunter for making the decision to get baptized. He is a great son and very smart and caring person. I love you so much, congratulations on your baptism.

I haven't been to Yellowstone since I was a little girl. It definatly wasn't what I remembered but it was still fun. We spent two days there with the family and it was fun. We even had a buffalo almost try to charge out truck but it decided that he was better off not doing that. I'll have to post thost pictures later. We had a great summer and I can't wait for my next road trip in April!!!

Yeah they are a family again!!

Ok this was a fun trip. I took Hunter and my mom in my car and neice and her girls and my sister were in another car. We followed each other. It was fun. On the way there we ran into construction so I taught Hunter how to do a Chinese fire drill. He loved it!! We also had walkie talkies and it was fun talking back and forth between cars. I was suprised that I was able to drive the whole time. After the graduation my mom, sister and Hunter and I went to a little ghost town and it was fun to walk around, but it ended as soon as it started to rain hard. After the ghost town we went to a different little town that had some crazy houses. I wish I had pictures but I don't. The house were stick straight but tall built right along the mountain and they were so close to each other. You could step out your back door and into your neighbors front door. Then we left the next day. We stopped and saw my Aunt I haven't seen in years and they my nephew said let go see the grand canyon so I took us on a 3 hour detour to see the grand canyon so our trip home was a lot longer than it was meant to be but it was a blast. None of us had been to the grand canyon before. It was fun to be able to spend that time with Hunter and my mom and sister. I can't wait for my next road trip!!

Hunter and I had the opportunity to go to Arizona for my nephew's Army special training graduation. We took a road trip and it was a blast. On the way home we stopped through the Grand Canyon. It was so big that we are going to have to take another trip there.
