Christmas 2008

Just some pictures of our Christmas Holiday. It was a lot of fun spending time with Clays sister and our kids. Clay and Hunter built a snowman and Bryton was still learning how to eat from a spoon. It was a great Christmas.

Christmas Eve Sledding

Marshmallow Boy

Doesn't he look like the Marshmallow Man (boy). This was a snow outfit I bought when Hunter was a baby and it was way to big for him so he never got to wear it. Bryton fits in it just right. With his chubby checks and chubby legs, he makes the perfect marshmallow boy in this outfit. He is so cute....

He thinks he needs to be a big boy

This was so funny. Bryton was laying on my bed playing, when I turned around he had taken his arm out of his shirt. Then he decided to try taking the rest of his shirt off. But he never figured it out. Then the next day he was wearing a shirt that snaps up and he kept trying to take that off. He is going to be my little streeker.

He turned 4 months old on Monday and we decieded to try feeding him rice cereal. He had a funny look when I gave it to him. He did great though and he seemed to like it a little bit. After sometime he will eat alot more. Right now he only eats a few spoonfuls.
Ok he wasn't even 4 months old yet and here he is holding the bottle by himself. He wants to be a big boy like his brother I guess. I don't want him to grow up so fast. What a big boy and a fun kid to have and watch.

Good News!

I am so happy to say that Bryton does not need surgery. We went for his doctor's appointment on Thursday and he gave us the good news. He told us that he will just be taking some medication for a year so he won't get bladder/kidney infections and to come back to see him in a year to see how Bryton is doing. I think I can handle giving him meds for a year rather than having surgery. I am so thankful for that. I just want to thank you, (mostly my mom and family) for all of your fasting a prayers. I know that the Lord is and was watching out for Bryton and is a great blessing to know that our prayers were heard and that he is going to be ok. We love you and are so greatful for you..

More Halloween

These are some cute halloween pictures of my boys. The picture of Bryton's behind is for those of you who haven't seen his costume. I couldn't resist taking a picture of his bum. This is a picture of Hunter and his friend from school. He had a great time trick or treating for the first time. He really wore me out..

Fort Building

This was so fun. Hunter decided that he wanted to build a fort, so last night we built a fort and ate chinese food inside. Hunter even left daddy a note on the outside of his fort, so when daddy came home he could read it. This is what he wrote "daddy come into our fort and eat with us, love mom, hunter and bryton." He was so excited about his fort, I have to admit that it was fun being a kid again... He wants to do it again.

Round One :(

Well we are done with round one. We spent about 5 hours at Primary Children's Hospital for some tests on Bryton's Kidneys. It was so sad. In one picture is shows that he had to get an IV in his head, yep his head. I cried, it was so hard watching them do that to my baby. In the other pictures it show him laying there getting an xray but this one he had to lay there like that for 45 minutes and during that time they had to inject a dye into the IV, so they can track his kidneys. I don't have a picture of the other tests because I had to help hold him down. But we are just hoping he doesn't have to have surgery. We go back down to Primary Childrens in a couple of weeks to go over the tests and find out if he needs surgery. I'll cry then to. It's so sad to see your children go through things like this.

Moved

We finally got moved. This past 2 weeks was a stressful and long, but we got through it. I packed up the house while doing daycare and taking care of my 2 boys. Not mention that after packing the house I moved with my 2 boys with just my sister and her family and my sister in law. Thanks Mom for watching my 2 boys on Sunday while Clay and I finished the rest. I felt bad for neglecting my boys and told my mom that I was excited to be a mom again. Along comes Monday and I am unpacking and doing daycare all over again. I finally got everything done. I am so glad that this week was a slow week. Anyway like I mention before we sold our townhouse and moved just down the street a ways. For now we are renting a townhouse. It is just one room smaller but we fit in it just fine. It was a great time to get rid of alot of crap. We filled our dumpster right after they came and emptied it. I hope our neighbors don't need to take their trash out!:) We have some good neighbors and some we could do with out. Clay and I were going through our garage and organizing our storge in there and all the little neighbor kids were out there snooping through our stuff and no parents were around watching them. There was this little almost 2 year that couldn't speak english and she wouldn't stay out of our stuff even after we asked her to leave it along. At one point she wanted me to bring this decoration that I had put in the house, back outside so she could play with it. Again her mom wasn't around. Then yesterday, I think it was her 3 year brother, hit Hunter on the forhead with a baseball. If you see me bald, you'll know why! We do like our new place though.

During our move we had no T.V for 3 days and no phone for 5 days or internet. I was ok with the no T.V. but man it was horrible not having a phone. I felt so out of the loop and couldn't talk to anyone. It's amazing how dependant you get. So finally we got out internet hooked up and phone and T.V. Our home number is still the same as it was before. So now I can update my blog with some new pictures of us. So incase any of you were wondering, I am still here, I haven't fallen of the earth yet. It's good to be back :0)

WAHOOO!!!

We finally sold our condo. I am so happy.... We are sad to leave our house but we are SO ready to move out. We have to be out by this weekend, so needless to say I have been really busy trying to find a place to move and to pack up a house. This is good, because it's like a deep, deep spring cleaning. De-junk time!!! It's amazing how much junk you can accumulate over time.
With 5 days left, I finally found a place in Logan to move. We are excited for this new adventure.
Other exciting news, (other than selling our condo) Clay got a promotion at work. He was made manager and that means more pay and more hours. I am so greatful to him for his hard work and sacrafice for our family. He will be putting in a lot of long hours at work. But we will still love him even though we won't see much of him for a while. I love you~!!

Fishing Adventure

So here is the story about Hunter fishing. Hunter and Clay had eaten some Salmon at Sam's Club and Hunter really liked it. Since then he had been begging to go fishing to catch his own Salmon. Well Clay finally took Hunter fishing and he liked it until----Bee's got the best of him. He got stung at least 7 times...The naked picture is of his 7 bee stings. Poor kid..I felt so bad, but at the same time it was a little funny. So needles to say Hunter has decide that he doesn't want to go fishing anymore..

This has to be comfortable! Bryton was asleep in his basinet and I went in to check on him, he was sleeping with his face smashed against the side. He is a very wiggly sleeper. He moves around in his sleep all the time. Sometimes he is all curled up at the bottom of his basinet. I just don't know how he can sleep like that, but it is his favorite position when he sleeps. I just hope that when he goes in his crib he doesn't move as much. But hey if he sleeps good when he is like that, then I won't complain. I think it's cute and funny.

Monkey

Here is my Monkey. Hunter loves to go rock climbing. We got him a membership at Rock Haus, because he liked this place so much. He asks everyday if he can go rock climbing. He is really good at it to. This wall is a very high wall and he can climb to the top. This is also a good way to wear him out, he sleeps better at night.. :) He already wants to teach his little brother how to climb.

Big Helper

It's hard to see, but Hunter is helpling Clay change Bryton's diaper. It was fun to watch him try changing his brothers diaper. At one point Hunter said he didin't need any help, that he could do it by himself. What a great big brother...

BRYTON CHAMBERLAIN MURRAY 8-15-08 7 lbs 6 oz. 19 in.

Ok just updating you on my delivery and the new addition to our family. I was induced on Friday August 15. I went in at 4:00 pm and had them start the induction. I kept telling them I didn't need the epidural yet and I was doing ok. The nurse said that I was getting close to having the baby and the pain started to increase so I finally got the epidural around 5:30-6:00 and before you know it, he was born at 7:35 pm. So I went pretty fast, I am just glad that the epidural had already kicked it, otherwise I would have been hating it. But other than that everything went great, and I came home Saturday night. Hunter just loves him and can't leave him alone. It is so cute. Bryton is a really good baby. Although the first night home he thought he needed to eat every hour then every two hours. He just had a little tommy ache. He is doing great now.

My boys!!!

Hunter was in a pudding fight with all of the neighbor kids. He had so much fun. It was a mess but really funny to watch all of the kids through chocolate pudding at each other. Of course they each had to taste test it on their fingers before they threw it at someone else.

This may not be my best pose but Hunter took this picture with our new camara. He was so proud and excited that he took it. Not bad for a 4 year old is it? This was also taken up in Star Valley Wyoming

This picture was taken Memorial day weekend. We went up to Star Valley where I grew up and went on a little hike where we took this picture. It really is a geourous canyon. We all had fun..

Hunter's Preschool graduation. He was so excited and happy about his little graduation. I was so fun to see him and his class put on a little program. Isn't he cute!!

Hunter was learning how to drive a moter bike. It is his cousins bike, I still think he is a little to young to have his own. I guess I am just worried that he will get hurt. But he sure did have fun.

Finally

Ok I finally am updating my blog. It has been one crazy month of May. I finally have some time to let you all know what is up with the Murray family. Well Clay finally graduated from USU and just accepted a job selling insurance, which means we will be staying in the valley. We are still selling our condo(any takers would be great). Hunter is done with his 1st year of preschool and couldn't be happier to have summer here. He is ready for swimming lessons, but his class don't start until July. But he is so ready to go to the pool to swim. Me however I am reluntant to go. Who wants to see a pregnant woman in a swimsuit. Plus I don't have one that fits this pregnat one. Other than that I am doing just fine. So all in all we are doing pretty good. Clay will start his job on Tuesday and hopefully it will be one that he likes. Ok I will try to do better at keeping up on this blog.

Cake Decorator

Hunter decorated his dad's birthday cake all my himself. He had so much fun doing this for his dad. It was fun watching him. His dad liked the cake too.

Cold Football Player

He loves to play Steelers, even when it's super cold outside. He just might be our pro football player!

Hunter and his 4 wheeler

Hunter got this wagon for his birthday and he had to drive around with it on his 4 wheeler. He was having so much fun. He begged me for a ride but he is a little bit of a silly driver, so I passed on that. He loves to ride around in the snow, when it's not so darn cold outside.
